FWIW, Zev quoted $3,000 for a friend's Passat. That should give you a ballpark figure.

Default Try here...price is right if you are able to do a DIY install!

thats the best price i've found thus far for a unit from a website.... obviously ebay is the cheapest, but it has its issues.... anybody have feedback from this site? seems pretty straightforward with links to audiworld on site....

Default There was a recent (maybe within 2 months ago) gripe about them in the B5 forum

I don't want to say anything further about it, since it was a onesided point of view on the issues discussed, and I stopped following it prematurely. You should probably read it yourself and draw your own conclusion.

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1849877.phtml</a

What does a new Passat unit have to do with one for an A6 ? Nothing.

with a guarantee on it. Please email me for further information.

Default Audi and Passat ARE the same

ZEV, that just goes to show your knowledge regarding the nav systems. Strangely enough, the Passat and the Audi use the same NAV system, just different bezels and firmware. Same connections, etc. Where are you getting your information? Yes, they are different part numbers, but they are the same unit. And yes, you quoted me $3000 plus install, and never returned my calls.
