Default Blue Tooth & RS6

Has anyone looking into what it would take to "add" bluetooth compatibility to the existing hands free system in the RS6? I know there are after market systems to install but I'd like to use the existing v60 integrated system if I can. I was going to ask my dealer but I wanted to see if anyone had done that first.

Default I put in a Motorola HF850 bluetooth kit...

pretty simple, all you need are radio removal keys and some eletrical connectors. GO to the tech section and see the Integrated Motorola handsfree kit install that I wroet up. Same thing for the bluetooth, only no phone cradle is needed. Everything else is the same.

Here is my setup, which mutes the radio when a call comes in or is placed. Sound comes from the B-pillar speaker, but if you have no phone option in the car, it will default to the lower speaker in the driver's door.

...sorry for the dusty dash...

Here is a link to my tech writeup for my previous handsfree kit install:<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec95.shtml">Tech article</a></li></ul>

Default The Parrot 3100 is a great kit

I've installed a bunch of these in the 04 and 05 A8L's....and you could get a new phone cradle for your new phone to use the external antenna function and charge function, but you would have to have it modified.

Did you upgrade from the original wired Motorola kit to the HF850? Are the plugs (power, speaker, mic) the same so that I can just swap out the control box?

Thanks!
