They're both similar in many regards, I'm curious how the RS6 stcks up against the W12tt, not just in acceleration (which is similar) but feel/fun, etc.

It is TOO heavy. A great long distance cruiser. but it is a barge compared to the RS6. Interior is lovely but when I looked at the instrumentation, I thought it was cheap looking - perhaps out of a VW parts bin. "Barge" is the wrong term - "parade float" is more accurate becuase everyone looks at you when you're at the wheel. Good brakes, decent steering feel - did not feel as quick as my RS6. I was very underwhelmed. The RS6 is far more immediate, far less filtered responses

It sounds like it handles like a cadillac, of say '80s vintage. I'd think Audi/Vw did a better job than that with this 'sporting' alternative to the Rolls. wow.

How did the acceleration compare? Supposedly peak torque at 1700 rpm of ~480 lb/ft, linear up the range, peaking at 555 hp, for an RS6 matching 0-60 time. Did it feel like it?

by the weight and the emphasis on "sport luxury". Was it fast? Yes, but not "visceral" (you don't feel the speed - more like an airliner taking off than the RS6). I also wasn't impressed by the rattles in the doors. The car did nothing for me. Robb Report just named it their car of the year so maybe they know something I don't. I'm a C4S/RS6 owner - probably the wrong person to give a positive evaluation of a 5200 lb vehicle.
