and also a certain mile marker i should avoud.
I'm looking at the 28k mile mark, and ofcourse it has to be CPO'd to 100k.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well first, check out MarkNMTT's car for sale on this forum. All over the links below...
Next, as for the mileage, in general, go for as low as you can afford. The 28k range right now seems to be low- to mid-50s sweet spot. But, if it's CPO, the mileage only counts if you intend to keep it long term. Far as I know, there's no magic # that stuff starts going wrong that isn't there in any other car.
I would recommend pulling the service record on any car you find to see exactly what's been done. Some RS6s have had notorious DRC issues that very few dealers seem knowledgeable or willing enough to fix.
That's my $.02. Good luck with the search. You will love this car.

Yikes! Mark, hang in there.
I totally understand your frustration with not being able to sell the car when you want to. I won't tell you to calm down, because I hate it when others say that to me.
However, try to keep things in perspective. It sux, but what anyone can gather from being on this website for any length of time is that no.radar and Blownaway are personal friends.
That means 1) he's going to get the best trade-in deal, and 2) Tim's going to take his car vs. yours. There's really no way to get around that. It does sound like you should have kept it on the downlow, but nuffin you couuld do about that now.
Hang in there. It seems like you're price is really low and better than a dealer could go for a CPO, so someone will go for it--if you decide to unload it.

That blows!....can't say I'm all that surprised coming from my experience...
Good luck selling her. You have one the best looking RS6 I've seen out there. It's a tough market for them right now though. It took me 3 months to unload mine and not for a pretty price either. I think it was cursed from the dealer though!
