Default Should I Sell ?

Hi Guys,

So I can only assume that I could get the best advice from other rs7 owners. I have a 2016 Sepang RS7 and I love the car, purchased a high spec model only missing performance package and carbon optics. The issue with the car is I don't give it the love it deserves, as in I only drive maybe 5 miles a day and i'm out of town 2 weeks out of every month. I live in the city (Tampa) and traffic is pretty bad so I can't even enjoy the performance of the car. So right now the car is just a show piece when I drive around which is kinda nice. My question is, based on these factors should I keep the car? I have grown a bond with it, but I just don't get to enjoy it. Financially this car is not a burden / almost paid off, I just don't think where I live right now it makes sense to own such a car. Any input on what you would do if you were me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks !

That's what I was thinking. Nearly any move you make will be down.

Unless you go totally different like a Cherokee Trackhawk or an old classic car of some sort.

Default Hope You Didn't Sell

If the car is no financial burden. KEEP IT. I only drive my RS7 on weekends in clear conditions. But the thrill of driving a performance machine is worth the wait.

I honestly have no idea what I would replace it with, maybe a classic of some sort. I'm 29 years old so I'm still in the flashy non practical phase. My commute today hit a max speed of 35 MPH, so these high HP cars make no sense here. That why its so hard to think of a fun replacement that wont depreciate that quick. Any recommendation on cars are appreciated. Would 100% Keep this if I could get it over 65 MPH at least once a day.

Side Worry : I've heard from the forum that turbos seem to be failing on these vehicles, my local Audi stated they had 3 non tuned RS7 needing repair. I would hate to get hit with a 10k repair and be barley using the car. I know it is rare, but you never know.

Yikes! Driving 5 miles doesn't even get the engine up to operating temp........hope you take it out and run it hard enough the rid the engine and exhaust system of moisture. The build-up of moisture in the exhaust system and engine WILL cost you big time down the road.

If you like the RS7 keep it and get a car made to handle your short commute, a Chevy Volt or a Prius would be perfect. But for only a five-mile commute I would ride my bicycle and avoid the traffic. You may even find that a bike would be quicker than driving. Have you looked at the new generation of e-bikes?
