hey, this is my first post here, im just wondering a few quick questions before i go hunt about for cars

is their any big differences or little differences i should know about before looking specificly what year im after, 2006 was the year i fell in love with RS4, but id like the newest model being 2008, anything you could add would be great, im mainly interested if the exterrior shape is the same.

i think its just bad pictures, where im starting to think the 2008 model has a slimmer less beefy front end and hood cover!

Nothing is different, only difference was that the titanium package and exclusive interior was an option for 2008.

That's not entirely true. The early 06-07 cars had the larger B6 style satellite radio antenna and the row of buttons above the radio had some chrome added at some point during 2006 but these are very minor changes though. There was also 2 options packages made available for the '08 model, the Ti package, and the Audi Exclusive "package".

What region are you from jblazed? US, Europe, Australia?

We have Euro spec RS4s here in Australia, and the early B7 RS4s had orange indicators in the headlight cluster, whereas 2007 and newer models had the 'cleared out' headlights.

my little concearn was, that the 08/09 A4 had a rounded down back rather then up like the 2006 had, just wasnt sure if that went down through the RS line originally.

any specifics in options i should be looking for.

Actually, you could get the Exclusive Packages in 2007 too...I have one.

Also, the U.S. didn't get RS4's in 2006...we only got them in 2007 and 2008.

Well, I got my car (in the US) in November 2006 as a 2007 model. They had been available from mid 2006 as 07 models...
