what do you guys thinko of these rims and the whole black on black theme.

I'm more of a fan of silver colored wheels. Black wheels look too much like they are not washed and covered in brake dust. BBS wheels should look like BBS wheels and the black color prevents people from recognizing them..

Blackout works great on guns and helicopters, but on a luxury sport sedan? No way. I'm with Reggie on this one. I once owned shadow chrome BBS wheels (see attached pic), but's that's as dark as I would go.

I gotta agree with Reggie, though solflower's car looks pretty nice too:

Looks like he's deleted the chrome edge around the windows, and the mirrors are darkened too. Gives it a pretty nice look, but IMO halfway (just the rims black) looks a little odd.
Rims like ELEVENS' above might help hide the powder buildup a bit though. ;-)

I am w/ Reggie and the others...the car is already black. Having a little silver to contrast the colors is not bad. The RS 4 is already stealthy to the untrained eye...Plus I see a lot of black on black (murdered out) rides and it is getting a bit played.

To do it right, you need to black out everything....trim, mirrors, grill (if you want that look) Alternatively you could go with wheels that have a black face and a polished/silver lip like the OZ superleggera III. You need some silver in the wheels to go with the silver trim, however.
