Default It's going to be more for looks and sound then anything else...

The stock airbox probably does the job better.

So, for the cost unless you really want the look and/or sound, don't do it.

Someone on here does have it, I just can't remember who.

I called Carbonio and found out it does not even work on the RS4.

Default there's some other company that makes a RS4 intake....it's like $1800, IIRC.

Default Does it even make sense to run a custom airbox???

Does it even make sense to run a custom airbox considering there is no software solution to account for the (alleged) increase in air?

Default the stock ECU can compensate for exhaust, intake etc. The valid point is wheither an intake would..

help regardless of that.

Default Not sure what the Carbonio or Gruppe M ones look like, but how about

replacing the airbox with a short ram/cone filter setup?

Then you'd just raise the intake temps/reduce timing/reduce power.
