Default awe exhaust from S4 to RS4

i had my local dealer put my AWE exhaust from my previously owned S4, to my RS4. everything fit fine. just curious if anyone knows what it would do to the performance.

Default Not sure about performance, but it's good info about the fit........

Does this then mean that all fitment points are the same? Will any S4 exhaust fit the RS4? Valves are a different issue, of course.

Default not sure about every exhaust, but my dealer had no issues with the AWE.

i had them try it b/c i think the AWE is one of the best sounding exhausts out there. i happen to luck out, both on product, as well as on spending additional money on a new RS4 exhaust.

Default The reason I'm saying all exhausts is that the attachment points would all have to be the same....

logic dictates this. If one S4 exhaust fits, they all should fit......or am I having a braindead moment and missing something in my thinking here??

This is good news...I've been thinking about the AWE for the RS4(B7). I've been quite accustomed to them previously installed into my 997 TT and 997 GT3 (sadly both not with me due to current crisis). The sound is amazing...

Stock S4 exhaust is 2" and stock for the RS4 is 2.5". AWE is 2.25". You're getting choked up.

That's not a very good move. You should have done your homework.
