Default Brake wear sensor wires

Light on dash was coming on. I removed wheel, found broken wire, soldered back together and taped. Doubt it will hold too long. Was hoping to buy some replacement wires. Does anybody know the part number, or a cheap equivalent? Are these the same on the A4, S4, etc? what other models/years? Where to buy?

Thanks.

Is the break after the connector or before? The brake pads have two wires with a connector on them. If the break is after the connector then probably the best thing to do is to cut the wire at the break - then use heat shrink tubing and slide that over each wire - resolder the connection - slide the heat shrink tubing over the exposed wire and solder connection and heat up the shrink tubing. If the break is between the connector and the pads - then the wire gets replaced when you put new pads on.

The break was not at the connector.

I did exactly as you described, except I didn't have heat shrink handy, so I just used black electrical tape...

I don't expect the tape to last too long, so I'm looking for info on where to get new wires...

Thanks.
