I got her! - 2007 RS4
What great rumble from the GMG! I love this car!
Heres a link to the ad:

I am going to buy the car tomorrow AM here in Denver CO. Wondering if anyone knows it, or Chris, the previous owner (he moved to Norway and consgined the car here). He lived in TX for a while as well.
Car:
2007 Misano Red, alu trim, premium pkg (nav, etc..).
57K miles
Car is very clean, no issues, not even any front road rash.
Drives very nicely
Mods:
Stassis/Olins Motorsport susp
GMG exhaust (sounds great)
Unitornic stg 1 flash
Tint
Recent work:
$2,200 for some new intake parts (a light was lit on dash so broker took it in), and they fully cleaned the valves.
Tires are Michellen pliot sport A/S
Price is $40,000
Any thoughts or feedback? I'm stoked!!!! My last Audi was S4 4.2 6spd, I miss that car....

A step down? I own both and, as much as I love the 2010 S4, my cheeks hurt (from a huge grin) every time I get back into my RS4. I am always looking for an excuse *not* to drive the new S4...

I had a manual 2001 S4 which I still love (my son got it when I bought the 2010 model). I got an automatic in the 2010. Maybe that was the problem but I just never fell in love with the 2010. It was just a car albeit, a nice one! Hard to believe I know. It was beautiful and I enjoyed driving it but my heart rarely raced. As soon as I tried an RS4, my heart skipped a beat...and it still does after a month. Yes some of the tech is older but the overall car itself sounds great and drives amazingly well. I just love it! Zero regrets on the trade.

I had the exact same experience the day I test drove the 2007 RS4 and 2010 S4 back to back. After my drive in the S4, I was thinking, wow, that's a really nice car! But after my spin in the RS4, my heart was racing and I was thinking, Holy F-ing S&!t! I have to have it!

RS4 vs...
I too had the same experience - test drove a '10 S5 and a '08 RS4 Cab. Although the S5 was smooth and maybe a little slicker inside, the sound, response and feel on the RS4 made the decision easy. Also the fact that the S5 wasn't/isn't available in a cab/manual and I wanted both. Not regreting the decision a bit. Enjoy it!

I agree, this car just has that "it" factor that makes me smile just thinking about getting behind the drivers seat.
My DD is an IS300, and it gets the job done, but has no soul to it; just an appliance to get me where I need to go.
