Default Brakes got very loud very fast.

Brake squeal crept up on my car quite quickly! No warping/vibration from the rotors, just noise under light braking. Heavy braking makes no noise. Plenty of pad left on all four corners.
Not sure what to do about it.

Default Perform 4-5 runs of maximum braking from 70 to 30 back to back until brakes begin to fade

This will bed the brakes, transferring pad material to the rotors. Once done, the noise will go away.

Good idea, will try it tomorrow if I can find a good stretch of road.

Default I had horrible brake squeal from 50-2500 miles

I bedded them in about 5 separate times and it would not go away. I even talked to the stratmosphere guys about my bedding technique to make sure I was doing it perfectly. The Audi dealership claimed they found a piece of plastic from shipping in one of the pads and removed it (about 2000 miles). The squeal has gone away but is also the warmer part of the year. Once it gets back to fall and winter I will know if they stay quiet when cold. The lambo Gallardo forums complain of a ton of brake squeal with these brakes but surprisingly you and me seem to be the only ones on this forum. Keep me posted on how it goes.

Well I'm glad it's not just me then, but it sucks that it's happening in the first place.

It's not just you guys. I had squeals too. That's when I learned to re-bed them occasionally

Default May help if the rotors are warm before the bedding runs, but that protocol worked fine

for me. Useful (to me) link below.<ul><li><a href="http://www.zeckhausen.com/bedding_in_brakes.htm">STOP...NOW!!</a></li></ul>
