I will probably be banned from this forum for asking this question, but here it goes...how do you close the hood on the RS4? On my BMW, I just let the hood drop from about a foot up or just let it lie almost closed, and just push down on it. With the RS4, it seems a little more resistant.

Again, I apologize b/c this question sounds idiotic...but being a new owner, I just didn't want to put too much down force and break something. Thanks.

are you serious? but anyway, your question is vague buddy. i can close the hood with 4 inches of space...just a flick of my wrist and it's closed i guess it all depends on how strong you push the hood back. keep tryin until you get the right amount of pressure.

Unfortunately, I was serious. But I just went back into the garage and just pushed down with a little more force. Hood closed.

Anyways, thanks for replying. Now, can I erase this thread? ;O

Haha your post is here forever to see (unless the many who left this forum return and bump you down). The aluminium hood will not close from it's own weight.
