Default DRC, can anyone explain in detail!

So the understanding that I have of the system is from info that I read on the net (not much). My question is, what physically keeps the car from pitching? Is it something in the shock and will it be lost if I get the Ohlin MS suspension?

I want to get the motorsport suspension but really like the ride quality of the car the way it is. Keep in mind that my last car was an S4 with PSS9's and 19" BBS wheels, etc...

Default I hear the MS rides better than DRC.

DRC is known to be unreliable. The way that it tries to keep the car level is by having the shocks linked diagonally with a hydraulic system. Yes you would lose the use of DRC if you got the Stasis suspension but it would be for the best.

Ive ridden in a RS4 with KW V3 suspension and it didn't seem to ride any worse than DRC but I don't have any experience with the Stasis.

The Ohlins dampers are far superior to the bistein dampers in the PSS9 kit.

Default DRC. Is too mechinically complex at a time when a better solution has been around for years.

magnaride has been in GM cars for about ten years, now in others BMW, Porsche etc. Why Audi went DRC is unknown. Perhaps the lisencing fee for magnaride was too high?

M5 system provides the comfort and high performance and does it better and smarter. If the electronics fail you still have an otherwise fully functional suspension. If DRC fails you have a very scary uneasy ride. Been there.

Default The MKII TT and R8 have magnaride, but Audi is still putting DRC in the next RS6...

I guess someone needs to talk to someone at Audi and find out why

Cool, thanks for the insight. Now all I need is for Stasis to have a sale.

Default I know of a few issues with clunking on the RS6 version with the Stasis set up.

Works fine but constant clunking. No idea if RS4 set-up is different but probably is. Which for me clunking would have seemed normal till my recent complete DRC replacement along with every other front end suspension component.
