Default DRC issue

I'm new on here and I just bought an 07 RS4 and put the car on the lift yesterday and noticed oil around my front passenger side strut....is this a sign of the well known DRC failure? Also is this still covered under warranty? Someone had posted that its only covered 12k miles/1 year. Is this true??

Yes chances are if it's leaking it's a DRC failure. It should be under full warranty.

My understanding is the DRC is just 12k miles or 12 months, so you are correct lava

Default 12k miles/12 months varies by dealer.

DRC is not a wear and tear item but some dealers are treating it as such AND getting away with it.

There is nothing written in the Audi 4 year warranty excluding DRC from the full 4 years/mileage.
