Default DRC Update #2

Got the car back in last night after dropping it off Monday (see link below for story). It sat until Tuesday while they waited for a shipment of hydraulic oil. They bled the system, recharged it, test drove, let it sit overnight, test drove it again - didn't take. Had the same issues I brought it back in for. Wednesday afternoon they replaced the right-rear (originally brought in for the left front), replaced the valve, recharged, tested, let it sit and tested again. Seems to be good.

My SA said they had another RS4 that came in before with similar problems. Said that it can take a couple of attempts to get the system bled properly.

Will be checking the underside regularly...<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/100977.phtml">DRC Update</a></li></ul>

Default So your SA did say the DRC warranty is limited to 12mo/12K?

Best wishes on a speedy and competent repair.

Default Yes - that's what he was told...

he didn't agree with it and didn't agree with that bulls*#$ TSB regarding condensation. I was going to ask him for documentation, but didn't want to press the test button until I absolutely needed it. No point starting a fight while it's working...

Aside from DRC, the RS4 is such a great car. I guess it is worth it just to get Stasis and be done.

Default Two tries

It took two tries to get mine right and, so far, it seems right.

Time will tell.

I just picked up an RS4 this weekend and noticed oil on my front passenger side strut....is this covered under warranty?
