Default engine light

My engine light came on after about 2000 miles on my 2003 A4 quattro (manual). I took it to the dealer and they couldn't figure out why it came on (they said it wasn't the coil problem). The dealer turned the light off but the light has turned on and off, on and off repeatedly. What is wrong with my car? It isn't due to my fuel cap not being turned all the way shut either.

Default

what DTC does your engine throw? Could just be a fault sensor.

Default My old A4 used to do that....

The dealship said that it was caused by my stiffer springs...and the engine light came on at random times because it "thought" I hit rough terrain..

Default There are so many sensors in the engine bay - it's a fairly regular thing for B6 owners..

It happened to me a few weeks ago. Everyone told me not to worry about it (unless it starts blinking of course), so I didn't. No biggie. It went off about two weeks later
