Default Friday night...out for a little dinner...waiting for a parking spot and...

Bam! Someone backs out of an angled parking spot, i see it coming, honk the horn...too late, the dreaded thud of a slow speed impact. At least he had insurance.
Bad for him, 20-sumthin kid who has a 1980 Subaru beater he bought for $800 bucks. I think my wheel will cost that much at the dealer here. Such a pain in the *** to get this fixed.
I'm thinking the front quarter panel and a new rim, should be good as new.
His first instinct was to blame me that i came out of nowhere and hit him...hmm. If i was doing a powerslide in his direction perhaps, but the laws of physics don't allow me to make this kind of damage driving forward or reverse.
Feel my pain...please!!

On a good note, had my 40,000km service done this morning with the ECU Flash update, and i swear the car is WAYYY smoother than before. The exhaust isn't as gargantuan sounding(unfortunately) with the Milltek and it idles much better. They have done some nice fine tuning with this upgrade.
Another down note....the car had an extra 4.1km on it picking it up after service. I wasn't aware joy rides are a part of the service equation...hmmm.

Default your wheel is fine, that can be repaired for 100-200 bucks. The tire looks ok as well. The QP will

be the expensive part unless it can be popped out and buffed out. I dont think its that bad, but its hard to tell from photos.

I once backed my evo into my RS4 for a similar but smaller dent. Dealer took it out for 150 bucks, looks brand new.

Get a new wheel and use that one for a spare. Don't settle for just a fix.
