Bedford Autodrome west 1.8 mile track. RS4 lap time 1.28.25 peak mph 107.5 and the M5 lap time 1.29.95 and peak mph 108.2 and yes it beat the M3 cs also. The Z4 M and the M6 beat the RS. With a time of 1.27.10 top mph 104.9 for the z4 and 1.26.40, mph 109.6 for the M6.

I found the #'s interesting in that so many have said the M5 is faster than the RS4. It seems that this may be the case in a straight line only. The M6 simply overpowers the RS even in the turns and the Z4 I will assume has a great weight advantage over the RS, M3 and M5.

Warrning: This may all be a repost and I sure as hell don't know what I'm talking about ;-)

The RS4 is the 32nd fastest car they have tested around the track. Just to mention a few slower cars you will find lagging behind Ex. the Maserati Q, Boxter S, Lambo Murcielago, Carrera 997, Elise, and SLK55 AMG. So now you know who you can spank, just make sure you have plenty of twisties to dust them with.

For anyone who is interested it is the #99 issue about the EVO car of the year for 2006 on page 174.
