Default Headlight removal

Does the bumper cover need to come off to remove the headlight assy?

TIA

Default "Eddie Man" on the B7 S4 board came up w/ a way to remove

the housings w/o fully dropping the bumper. I would assume the RS4 would be similar in its bumper mounting points.

Default C4.

He cranked the wheel on the side he was working on so he could access the wheel liner fasteners, and then just loosed a few of the bumper screws as opposed to all of them.

Default I'm near Fletcher Jones...my E30 M3 is getting the 2.5 upgrade

so next time. Are you doing this this yourself? What's involved?

These are sealed correct? so you heat them, seperate and what the amber piece comes out? do you replace it with a clear?

Thanks

Funny, we live near each other and probably plenty of other RS4s and I have yet to see another.

Gonna try the DIY using this write -up as a reference.

Doesn't look to complicated.
You don't replace the lens, the bulb is replaced with a silvervision bulb. The amber lens is removed.

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4b7/msgs/49114.phtml</a
