Default How do u guys remove the adhesive from wheel balancing

I have this sticky adhesive from the wheel balancing weights that is catching all kinds of dirt on the inner aspect of my rims. Short of just rubbing at it with abrasive material (trying not to screw up the rims) is there any spray of some kind that would make this easier? anyone try goo-gone or whatever its called?

Goo Gone woorks too, it is citrus based as well.

That's my project for the 135i this weekend as I am finally Run Crap (oops, mean Run Flat) tires free! Tire shop left the old stickers, but I've had success with Goo Gone before on other cars and it is not harmful to the rim.
