Default i wish audi would really update their nav system...

just got the factory one on my evo installed and its far superior. I dont understand why Audi wont do a touch screen. At least the audi one is much better than most of the other factory nav systems out there.

Default I don't much care for touch screens, but some minor software improvements would make the existing

system much better. For the life of me I can't figure out why the have not worked out a better iphone integration feature.

Default The initialization paths are particularly obscure (entering new address), but I agree that

touch screens look cheesy once spotted with fingerprints.

Default i agree on that, but some regular TLC should help that out. But mainly the UI is so much nicer

compared to the audi. Also, I can control all the features of the car through the nav. It lets me see the outside temp and altitude as a function of time, see how long its been since the air filter, oil, fluids, etc have been changed. It even has 2 customizable fields that I can put in mileage for tires, etc.

So many good features that Audi should implement, especially on a high end car like the RS4.

Default yeah I agree with that, ipod integration sucks on both the audi and mitsu system....

mitsu system is simple RCA in, what a waste, doesnt even charge the iPod.

Default Outside temp - feel side glass. Fluid state - manually check fluids and note change intervals

via notebook or wipe board in garage.

I've got some friends who are nav (Garmin) zombies. They don't remember where they've been, so they always need to consult the nav for every little thing. I've got a friend who turns it on even when going from my house to his - even though he's been here hundreds of times. When we go some place, the first thing he does is turn on the nav, even when he has been there before, or I know the destination. Makes me soooooo annoyed! I do appreciate the map in the RS4 - it shows me alternate roads or places to explore, but once it's taken me one place, I do not require it again unless it's been a year or more since the last visit.

Drives me batty.
