Default Just my opinion based on what I've seen

1. All joystick/iDrive/wheel interfaces that I've seen so far (including Acura's) pretty much suck at entering a new address.

2. The only other option to enter a new address that may outperform touch screen is voice recognition.

3. From working in the industry I know that R&D for a voice recognition system would most likely be much higher than adopting an existing mouse pointer interface to a touch screen device (which is done many times since like 10 years ago).

4. Developing a Navi with a revolutionized data entry style that nobody has seen so far would be even higher cost and would take years. And most likely is not going to be adopted by any car manufacturer until proven successful by smaller aftermarketers.

Default Well, I care not since I use a map to note my destination prior, and carry map book with me when

possible. Once I've been to one place, if another is nearby, it' easy to reference others. I HATE nav zombies! It bothers the crap out of me when people don't even know the points of the compass!

Heels don't really bother me unless I wear low/mid-level heels and they catch on the mat. Remove the mat and/or wear no heels or high heels, and it isn't a problem;-)
