I've considered K&N in the past, although not seriously. What I mean is that I never really got close to converting to that setup.
I guess it just comes down to whether you think there's enough bang for the buck to decide to go that route. I do think that in the latest engines they seem to have made great strides in injection, air-fuel, and engine breathability, so that these types of upgrades may no longer be as significant as they once were.
Still, a personal choice and I respect your opinion regarding your choice(s).
