Default My RS4 should be here in 1-2 weeks...a few questions....

The car is getting shipped up from a dealer in Alabama. Daytona Grey.

Anyways: If I want to get XM for the car, can the dealer order the XM brain and swap it with the Sirius easily?
Also, is it easy to tell if the shipping blocks are in the car (can you just look through the wheels at the suspension and see?)?

Thanks

Default the SAT swap can be done...whether they do it for free is another question.

to be sure the shipping spacers are gone, you have to jack the car up. you might be able to see something w/o jacking up, but there's not much room...and if they were still in place, you'd have to jack the car up to remove them anyway.

got my sirius swapped for an XM. Have the dealer throw it in for you. It takes about 15 mins.

Default Save some $$$

You can install the sat radio yourself very easily. Click the link for an $85 box.

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4b7/msgs/42257.phtml</a

Default The shipping blocks...umm, you might have to jack it up to...

expose the area under the strut sleeve where they're located...to see if still there.
