Is the new M3 this slow??!!!

huh? check this out...
" BMW pegs the 335i's 0-62-mph acceleration at 5.5 and 5.7 seconds for the manual and automatic, respectively, courtesy of the new turbo mill's 300 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 295 pound-feet of torque from 1,300-5,000 rpm."

I almost waited for the M3, but can't stand the looks..........
The RS4 is much better looking, in my opinion...I also think the new M3 will be faster straight out than the RS4. It will be lighter, rear wheel drive, and produce the same hp..The 335i has been clocked at 4.9, so i am sure that was a typo.....that is the same time that a 340 hp awd s4 runs, and there is no way the new M3 will turn that "relatively" slow time......

I was just websurfing...
and came across those figures. You probably are correct that it won't be that slow. Not quite sure if it will be as fast or faster than the RS4, but it is def. UGLIER!

Do you really think BMW will release a new M3 that the RS4 will eat for breakfast?
Official RS4 0-100km/h (0-62mph) is 4.8 seconds. It's either a typo or the reporter got the wrong numbers.
