It occurs to me on the DRC failures that we may never see any real effort from Audi unless

I agree. If you are that much of an idiot and can't tell before you get to the track welll...
when DRC goes its very obvious so you are going to have issues well before you get to the track. Car feels like your parent's Buick. People that track their cars i think are more in tune with what feels right and what doesn't. And so should their instructors.

My only recommendation is to report failures to the link in Sparkhills post below. Numbers count.
And mention its the same system in the RS6 as that doubles the number affected.

True, which was why i made a comment about the instructors if at a DE event as they
have ridden in plenty of cars to know if something feels unsafe. I just wish it was easier to see if the shocks are leaking without having the car up on a lift.

COME ON! have you even driven a Toyota or similar? Obviously not!
Do you wonder why people drive those cars so badly and erratically? It's not them (possibly), it's the car!
I returned a Camry rental car within an hour citing it was dangerous due to rolling and pitching and the rear jumping up under braking.
Good luck

Leaking shocks should be spotted during the two pre-event tech inspections required by ACNA
One is done by your mechanic before you arrive at the event, and then there's another mostly cursory inspection the night before the event.

Yes,rental cars. Not sure of your point here. Thats why the RS is disappointing as the DRC fails
as it then becomes a Ford 500/Taurus in the handling department. Otherwise as i assume you know is that in the Audi you can fly around anything and especially get away quickly from other drivers who are not able to stay in their own lane. I agree that what joe public drives everyday is not near the level of Audi/BMW/MB/Lexus/Infiniti...
PS, my first car was a 75 Buick Century followed by an 84 Cavalier convertible. I know ****ty *** cars and how they handle and twist. Its the reason i am willing to blow a ton of money on a car.

Haha when I read the first sentence of your post the first thing I thought was you were looking for volunteers to kill themselves in an RS4!
