I'd say at just over 600 miles it needs 1/2 a quart..
So far I have gone by the book for the first 600 miles.
I thought about trying it but-
"Damage or malfunction caused by failure to operate the vehicle in accordance with the owner's manual"
is not covered under Warranty
I'm planning on a road trip down to S Fl to get the next 900 miles over with.
I'd have pay extra for a vehicle break-in option..<ul><li><a href="http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-131651.html">NASIOC - Break-In Advice (heck why not...I like the WRX)</a></li></ul>
