Default Removed Sirus-Audio disappeared from ipod

I just removed my sirus module and the audio disappeared from my ipod. I can still see all the listings from my ipod but just no audio. Otherwise, everything continued to work. What could be wrong here? Is there something I can do at the sirus connection to make the ipod audio back again? Thanks.

Why bother removing the module?

Default This is pure conjecture....

From what I know Audi used the XM/Sirius tuner harness for the CD changer audio pass through. If the Ipod is rigged in the same way (audi wont let you get the cd changer with the ipod option) then removing the sirius tuner will hose your ipod.

Also if you need more room, that plastic shelf comes out. Its a royal PIA to get the the thing out have to peel away carpet and undo like 4-5 screws/bolts to get the thing loose otherwise you break the bottom bracket. Once you take out the shelf on the upper deck of the shelf there is a place to mount your sirius tuner. I recomend two people for this job one to hold carpet the other to undo screws. If you cant find someone to help keep some small construction clamps around to hold the carpet back. If you ever need to muck with it be ready for the same PIA to get to it. That upper deck on the shelf was the original spot for the sat tuner on B6 models. There is also a plastic clip/mounting bracket for that spot you can source from your local parts dept or someone who may have a spare on the b6 forum.

Other alternate is to use a huge square of self sticking velcro and mount it elsewhere.

Default One more option....

Is you can find pin out for the sirius tuner on audiworld or navplus.us and then try to jumper the wiring harness with some short lengths of wire.

Default did you change your VAG coding to reflect the removed SAT tuner?

You need to tell the system you removed the tuner.
Perhaps that is your issue?

The iPod/CD changer audio is routed via the Sirius tuner - you need to bridge the connections.
