RS4 itch scratched again
I was the second owner of a 2008 RS4 back in 2010 while living in California. I took it on a long drive to Lake Tahoe and was not happy about the gas mileage and sold it soon after LOL. I'm not sure why I purchased it in the first place being a Ferrari and Porsche owner. After nearly a decade has passed and all the Ferrari and Porsche have been sold off. I am currently with an R8, A8, and once again the owner of an RS4 not really understanding why. There is something about this car that I love and just can't explain.
The car has nearly 100K and it's far away so had an independent inspection. The car checked out fine with one notable mention "The road test shows the engine has great power, transmission shift fine (the clutch feels like it was just replaced and the clutch pedal grabs lower that usual.". Is the clutch on the RS4 adjustable? I thought it was auto adjust and if so then perhaps problem with the slave cylinder or some other mechanical issue.
I'm having it dropped off at my Audi dealer and plan to give it whatever love it needs.
Thanks
Rick
