Default SLK 55 AMG vs RS4

Fairly evenly matched 0-60 hard to find meaningful 0 to 200kkm as i think this most covers power to weight and overall performance. Any thoughts or tests done betweent the car. i HAVE A FRIEND WHO WANTS TO RUN ME.GROUP THOUGHTS ON OUTCOME

He will have a pretty big advantage in 0-200 km/h. He should be about 5 car lengths ahead.

For some reason I read SL55 AMG. With the SLK, it should be very close.

Default I had an SLK55 for a year before I traded it for the M5 and...

I'd say it would be about neck and neck. The RS4 handles better though and seems to have more grip. Interestingly, the SLK55 I took delivery of in december 2004 also had Pirelli PZero Rossos as stock tires. They were 245 width in the rear and 225 up front though which gives some sense as to why the RS4 feels like it has more grip. Then again, I haven't taken the RS4 on the track yet but the SLK55 was flogged quite a bit at the track

I'm glad the RS4 came with the Rossos because they held up very well for a whole track season in the SLK55 with very little wear. But of course the RS4 is heavier so we'll see.

Default Here's a vid of one going up against an E46 M3 CSL...

The Euro only CSL M3 makes 360 CHP, about 17 more than the standard Euro M3 @ 343 CHP.

I think you'll easily take the SLK55. Please post the results!

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/wm/7affed7d-2fb6-4149-8165-7f7d12e53f7f.htm</a
