Hi Folks -

Quick question...anyone tried using springs w/ DRC suspension to achieve a lowered ride height? I don't want the car to appear "slammed", but I wouldn't mind losing .75 - 1" between wheel well and tire.

I like the ability to switch in and out of sport mode with the DRC, which is why I don't want to move to coilovers (unless someone can tell me why this would be better). I don't track the car, nor do I ever plan to. Just some sporadic aggressive street driving.

If there is a decent spring, is there any reason this would be terribly bad for the DRC (i.e., being compressed at a different height permanently)?

Appreciate any feedback, especially from those who've done this!

Sure, just get the Euro SuperSport Plus springs. BTW, Sport button doesn't effect the suspension.

NO, he is talking about the OEM euro SS springs, which were only offered on euro spec RS4's. Contact Alex@Europrice, he should be able to get them for you.


On a side note, those who are running the SS springs, are you also running the SS dampers? or have them just on the US spec dampers.... TIA
