Default Still Getting brake squeal after bedding the brakes several times

are any of you guys still experiencing brake squeal? Mine is really bad from about 5mph-0. I have gone through the 60-20 aggressive braking procedure several times to try to bed them properly and get them not to squeal with no luck. Am I the only person with this problem? The Gallardo forums seem to report the same problems as well since we share the same brakes.

Default Any problem at stoplights? Are they new brake pads, or...

just hate the sound. Sounds like a new status symbol to me... wear them proudly!

Us RS6 owners really know and love it...get used to it...the 60-0 does help.

none at all. but as mark says, get it alot on RS6, and 3 hard stops usually squelch it for awhile.

Default I've done 60-0 probably 50 times now and still no help

They are brand new pads, the car has about 200 miles on it. It seems to be when they are cold they squeal from 5-0mph. When I stomp on them a couple of times it seems to go away for a while until they get cold again.

Default Pick on the dealer...you do have the extreme case and what you describe is exactly what happens to

us RS6 folks. Although have been lucky with last two sets of pads/rotors.

Default Have the DEALER try anti squeal compound...

you start messing around with your new RS4 that way(fiddling with brake components) and the dealer will rip you a new one.

Default I've seen many Porsches, and none of them squeal

So I took the plunge, and happy I did so.
Not an RS4, but a SQUEAL-less Mov'it RS6.

What's the weight on those RS4 rims? I'd love to get a set for the RS6.

Default thanks for the feedback guys

I'm going to give it until 600 miles. If it's not gone by then, I will have the dealer replace the pads.
