I installed mine today. Took a bit over 2 hours. I had no problems finding the tools I didn't have and was able to do everything myself or with a hand (my cousin).

Just a few questions for others who've installed theirs:

- Which setting did you install your shifter on... the short or ultra short? I installed it on the ultra short.
- After installing mine, I no longer have to push in to get to Reverse. It's kind of annoying. Now I can get to reverse by simply going a little farther to the left vs. where 1st gear is. Does anyone else have that problem? I'm assuming its either because the rod for which the shifting **** rests on is too tall, or because I some how screwed everything back in too low, but I don't see how that could happen. Any suggestions or feed back would be great.

Other then that it's great. The throwing distance is much shorter.

I set mine to ultra short. It should shift into R the same way as stock. Sound like its dropped into the box too low. That may be unsafe the way you have it.

Mine set to Ultra as well and operates like stock going into reverse.

Can those of you who have ultra short setting describe how it feels? I'm looking at getting it installed, but heard the first setting is good, and ultra short might throw off timing too much. Thanks.
