What type of Memory Sticks behind the radio are best?
SD? SDHC? XD? type M or H?
Is there a certian size that works better than others and is it an MP3 Format?
Do they work well through the radio? Song display or just track #?

any SD works fine and for MP3 playback, you don't even need high-speed ones...
displays song and track depending on how you set up the file structure. The headunit is also capable of playing .m3u playlists. There is a limitation in the system on how many files you can actually have on a card so a 4GB will not make sense unless you have very large MP3 tracks at very high bit rates. 2GB is ideal.
I use high-speed 4GB Adata brand cards because they were cheap and supposedly is one of the fastest read/write SD cards on the market for such a low price point (I bought 6 of them for $80 each). While I didn't need the fast write speeds for playing MP3's on the Audi, I did need the speed for my digicam and my gf's pda. So far, these cards have proven very reliable and the write speeds are as advertised because it was able to do 30 fps video capture on my digicam at the highest video resolution (camera manual says I need highest speed SD cards available).

To get MP3 capability do you need the premium package installed.....or is MP3 capability standard.
I do not want the Bose Audio crapo system, will be installing my own speakers and JL amps.
TIA
