Turns out it's 2 years max. Oh the irony!

Default Yes, I was just thinking that we haven't had a B5S4 troller around in a while...

...but I was wrong!

Default Put a bottle of that stuff in my S4

before deploying to Iraq this past November. Should be home just before it's due to expire. Are you supposed to do anything special with the car upon getting it going again? I've got a friend cranking the car up for me from time to time and hopefully taking it out of the garage and around the block, but it'll probably see 30 miles max between now and when I get home in '09.

Default Have your buddy throw in another bottle every six months. The shelf life may be two years but it

won't keep absorbing moisture from your tank indefinitely. If it doesn't pop back to life after two years, make sure you try fresh fuel before suspecting something more complicated.

I wish you a safe return and hope you and your car reunite with great fanfare in 2009.

Tim
