Default 60/40 power split S change by audi???

A friend, and fellow car enthusiast was telling me today that at some point audi modified the s models from having a 50/50 power split to a 60/40 to feel more like a rear wheel car.

i may have missed this development, and was curious when it took place/how - etc.

Thanks

Default 2005.5 was begining of B7 and changes. A very little known fact that

that audi will no longer admit to is, the 2005.5 S4 had the same size brakes as the RS4 and stopped a lot better than the 2006 on models. They changed out all the 2005.5 rotors (front) when you did your first brake pad change, telling you that the rotors were defective and they were replaced with updated ones. My rotors were perfectly fine but I went along with the change because they did it for free, then I went over the specs for the RS4 and saw a familiar looking number, and sure enough, the stated that the 2005.5 S4 front rotors were the same size as the RS4 ones. Cheeky.
