Default Another Milltek question...

When my S4 arrives, the first addition I want to do is the Milltek exhaust. It sounds like a lot of you are installing it yourself. Are there adequate instructions or a DIY available? Some of you have mentioned using a paste for the joints; does that mean that no soldering is necessary?

Default I havent ordered my kit yet....

however several people have done it to the instructions without even putting the car on a lift.

Default It's a pretty easy job to do yourself...

Throw the car on some jackstands, or you can back it up on a ramp. It would probably be best to have a buddy or two to give you a hand since it's gonna be hefty and in several pieces. (The stock is one-piece, but it's huge!)

The paste is for securing the joints together and to help keep a seal to prevent leaks.

I'll be putting mine on this weekend with some fellow Audi-ers, and I'll make sure to write a proper write-up with install time and pics.
