Anyone who had the Serp Belt TSB still notice a whine?
Got mine back last nightand when I picked it up the engine was not cold. This morning I heard a whine(not as loud) only the first time I accellerated through the gears. Car was garaged (40-50 degrees in garage). When I left to come home,(car outside 11 degrees) again heard a whine which startes immediately rather than kicking in at 2K rpms and disappearing at 3K. Went away in about a minute. Not a big deal, but it was nice not to hear anything. Guess I could move to a warmer climate!

Re: I had a similiar experience the other day when i left work.
it was ab out 15 degrees. not near as loud, didn't last but a about 10 seconds when i took off for the first time.

Dr...you're experiencing what you were trying to tell me was the PS fluid!
I heard it initially during the startup, once in the very beginning after the TSB during an acceleration from standstill. It's gone now though.

Yeah, I still get a slight one sometimes when its really cold out. Though, I'm in garage too @ 40-50
but once I go outside, it will do it for awhile. Not nearly as loud as before. I can live with this, after dealing with the previous whine for almost a year. Glad you ask this question.
