Default AoA READ!

Just FYI, can we please, please please with a cherry on top, have an S4 coupe? SOON? There are many Audi drivers that in the next few years that will be leaving this brand and head toward a new coupe, ala, the M3. I know you think that your S4 can compete with the M3, but face it, performance wise it can't. You sit there and argue it has 4 doors, quattro and a nicer interior and call it a day. That is all well and good. But please, give us the S4 in coupe forum....yes, keep the best in class interior, the quattro, etc...but if you want to keep many of your most passionate drivers, you need to be giving us a 350+ HP coupe with a 6spd or DSG in the next two years or many of us are gone. I for one. Thanks.

PS- The S4 Cabrio doesnt count.

Try a TT.

The S4 was intended to meet the market for a 4 door performance sedan. If I wanted a straight 2 door sportster, I'd get an S2000 or an Elise, not an M3.

Default you disagree? I mean, if I lived in the north and had a kid or needed the room...

I would take the S4 as is in a heartbeat....but living in year round warm weather, and wanting a coupe....while Audi forces the notion the S4 is the answer to that question....
Audi needs to bring back the days of the coupe quattro.

Default TT? 250 hp max....meh, and the design is very dated. Granted

the next gen TT looks very promesing, its not designed to compete with an M3.

Default Your talking about increasing sales by less then 1% across the 4 Style....

its just not enough $$$ for them. They have the A/S/RS 2 & 3's which provide more what your looking for. i think more emphasis has to be put on trying to get all of them here in the US. I just dont see them doing an A4 coupe especially as they continue to plan to bring the A3/S3 to the US and Possibly the A2 as well. And the new plans for a higher end coupe (LeMans). Just doesnt seem like it would be worth the money to design and produce something to fit the bill. i also think they woo a good 2/3's of the people who are in your situation with a vert.

Default All good points...I have a friend the writes for a Euro Car Mag and his sources tell him

there will be a coupe, called the A5 half way b/t the 4 and 6 platforms in size. With an S5 version to follow based on the Nuvolari car...

I can live with a cab, IF its a hardtop ala the SL or SC430, I DISPISE ragtops.

Default I understand your point, although

I disagree. The S4 is not just a family car. I don't have kids, don't plan on having kids and chose the S4. I opted not to get the M3 (even though it took nearly a month to decide which car I wanted) because I just felt more at home with the S4. The M3 was a very nice car, but the S4 was what I was looking for. Having 4 doors is nice and more practical for me. I drove a hopped up Grand Prix GTP coupe before this and it was a pain in the *** for people to get in or out of the back.

I just don't see AoA spending the time and money to engineer a coupe S4. Good day to you, and who knows, maybe they will make it.
