Default Cold Air Intake!

Who makes one?

If no one, anybody know of any plans to get one made?

I'm not a fan of he "hyper flow" layout. Pulling hot air from under the hood for $350, not worth it to me.

Default I don't understand..

It's probably the best bang for you buck (I'm sure you can make you money back in MPG increase in under 1 year). Plus they cost nothing to make once they've been engineered.

I'm gonna take a closer look at what space I can snake through and if there's any room for a cone in the bumper.

Default No, $3000 for an exhaust system (DP & CB) is ridiculous, but....

It's the price we pay for owning the cars we own. The aftermarket figures that since we had the money to afford these cars, we also have the money to afford these severely inflated mod costs. The Hyperflow actually doesn't sound SUPER crazy to me. A bit inflated, yes, but good bang for the buck. It probably costs about a hundred more than it should. But the exhaust.....good grief! For a less expensive, American performance car aftermarket exhaust system, using the same materials and a similar amount of it, you may spend $600 - $800. The mark-up is SICK. But there's nothing we can do about it.

Default We need some tubing or an S-flo equivalent. Something that's going to give us the extra flow...

without pulling in hot air. However, have you ever felt the underside of the airbox after running your car? That thing gets SUPER hot!

Default Macht, are you in agreement with the general consensus...

that the Hyperflow is just pulling in hot air? And, by extension, that it isn't really so effective?

Agreed. Seen results in comparison to my stock, like the sound, not the lack of performance.
