Default Diagnosis of friends clutch/tranny failure

Turns out the pressure plate bolts were finger tight. 106 miles on the odo when it happened. They are getting new plates, bolts, etc which they can get right away. Guess Otto went out for a beer break during assembly. Must have been made in October. I've got 6k miles on mine - wonder if I'm safe?

Default If you've got 6K miles, odds are you're OK on this one...

Loose pressure plate bolts would have shown up by now...
