Do fog lights make your car go faster?
I see a lot of people turning on their fog lights though I see no fog... Lotta ricer types, as well as some Eurocars. Once, in Las Vegas in July, I even saw a minivan with them turned on.
Tonight, where fog lights admittedly may have been appropriate, some clown tried to aggressively overtake me. But it was raining, and he/she didn't count on my V8 and AWD. I have to admit, the fog lights made it look like it might be a fast car. :-0 But it wasn't as fast as mine... :-) Don't know what kind of car since it was behind me, but it did have xenons, and of course, fog lights.

I love pointing it out to the idiots trying to make their car look "cool". I pull up next to them
and tell them that their rear fog is on...and not a single person has ever replied "I know" or "ya, it's supposed to be" etc. Not one!

Not faster, but driving with front fogs on makes the drivers "cool" factor go up 10 fold.
I mostly see SUV's, pickups, & Pontiac cars with front fogs on. I guess the SUV/Pickup drivers need a little extra cool than their big manly SUV gives them.

Only if the black light or flashing LED's are also running.
Coffee can muffler tips also increase the overall speed effect of the fog lights, with no fog of course.
Personally, I use them only when needed, not much in the city. It seems most of the cars riding around with the fogs on all the time also have wings and spinnaz.
