does the sun strip at the top of the windsheild interfere with radar detectors?

you know the blue or black stip at the top of the windsheild that helps with glare, does that ever interfere with the radar detector if you have your detector mounted up high and looking through the strip?

Mine V1 is on top of the mirror & works fine.

I have 3 cars... 3 V1's all remotely mounted above rear mirror. They work fine.
