Default Electrical gremlin hit yesterday. WTF!

I got a warning icon on dash indicting that my driver's side brake light was out. Had my wife step on the brake and it would not illuminate. Figure I will head over to dealer to pick up a bulb. Tonight, the warning is no longer on. Check the brake light and it is working fine. I swear that Audi has former Lucas Electric employees designing the electrical systems !

Perhaps it is a loose bulb or some moisture in lens

Default I have had the same thing...

It was my "Right Rear Parking Light" or something like that. All the lights would work as normal, but the dash light was on. It went away after a couple of days.

(Yes Sia i checked the Lic. lights)

Default Yeah, it ended up being the harness to one of my license plate bulbs...

i'm so tired.

And i have to go meet up for a beer with a former coworker in mt. view.

I'm going to fall asleep on the drive home.

Default Hence my post below ;-)

It's probably a harness issue. When stuff is intermittent like this (from my license plate bulbs to injectors!..it's been harness issues on this audi s4)

Default If it was Lucas, your brake light would stop working....

The sun roof would open when you hit the turn signal, and your high beams would turn your washer fluid sprayer on.

Default Old racing joke: Why do the English drink warm beer?

A: Because they have Lucas refrigerators!
