all I said was it's not cool to think that every S4 owner wishes they had an RS4. . .most of us could probably afford one if we wanted.
It's just a matter of what you want, and what makes you happy...
btw. . I am not a 20 year old Audi owner that loves to mod, and I was in no way trying to offend you personally. Just defending the B6.

And the verdict is in...
All Harnessed Lunacy (heretofore referred to as "HL") said in his post was that a true enthusiast just wants his car to be unique to him. HL didn't attack anybody; he just defended himself and all the others who are completely satisfied with their B6s.
When you are so vocal about your desire to dump your B6 S4, <i>on a B6 S4 forum</i>, you're bound to ruffle a few feathers. I happen to agree with everything HL said and believe it was justified.

guess i missed what all the hubbub was about...
the only post i saw from kurt did <b>not</b> bash the B6S4 and wasn't personal (maybe later posts went that way?), but simply stated that he thinks the RS4 is ultimate version of the platform, and would prefer that over modding.
i don't see how any of us could miss out on how enthusiastic he has been long before, and after, there was any news of the RS4. no one else has put as much energy, and quality effort, into showing how awesome our cars (B6s!) look on the road.

no need for all the fuss from both sides.
I think Kujo was reacting to many of the vocal critics of the RS4 by current B6S4 owners and HarnessedLunacy was reacting to Kujo's criticism of current B6S4 owners. No need for all the fuss in my opinion as we have enough of that from B5S4 to anyone that doesn't own their car.
