Excess S-4 inventory?
With all this talk about Dealers who have S-4's on the lots with no buyers. Does anyone know about a Dealer who has an Avant, 6 speed, unsold East of the Rockies? Please e-mail if you do. Robbie

3 things. (ENOughs enough.)
1) avants are order only
2) do an autotrader.com search on new cars or call a dealersearch and have them do it for you.
3)Excess inventory on an S4 avant is an oxymoron that only occurs when someone backs out of an order.
not being harsh, but being real. how do I know? I contacted 72 dealerships, learning of their Individual "schpeils" before arriving at this answer and placing my order.

Not totally true....
There is a blk/blk Tip Avant in Denver (as of Sunday at 5PM) and it's been there since at least 2/6. Note that I have not contacted the dealer so I don't know why it's still available.

Go onto autotrader.com. Choose your distance radius.
Any dealer with more than 3 listings probably has excess stock. If you find one you like, make a deal. Discounts of $2000-$3000 have been posted. Good luck and good hunting! "Your S4 is out there"
