...which had been sitting at the dealer for a while (I wasn't around to get it!). In general, I love it -- the right combination of sports beast and refinement. A few gripes:

- Steering wheel ALREADY makes a creaking sound on slow turns (that's 2 for 3 on Audi steering wheels that do this to me). I may have them change the column but it didn't help much last time so maybe I'll just leave it
- A couple of indentations (bug bites on the leater? or manufacturing glitch?) on the front right seat -- slightly irritating but not enough so to warrant sending the car in to have the seat changed (and they might not do it anyway)

Oddly enough I have a TELEMATIK button at the top of my nav (I think that button is supposed to say MENU like on the A8 or else be blank). Anyone else seen this? Probably a bug, but I don't much mind.

My Sirius sat radio is working fine -- no reception problems at all, which some cab drivers have talked about here and elsewhere (due to antenna in trunk rather than on top of car).

I'll post some pics if I can find the time to dig out my digital camera from whatever box I've stuck it in :-)

Funny...I have noted the exact same problems on my '05 Cab (steering wheel and imperfections on right front seat leather). Is your steering wheel multifunction?

Nope, I have the standard wheel. When do you notice the wheel creaking? When the car is not moving? When it's moving slowly? When it's moving quickly? For me, it's just when it's moving slowly.

Do you have nav? If so, do you have the TELEMATIK button at the top of the nav buttons?

How are you liking the car? Other than these glitches I'm loving it.

I notice creaking when moving slowly. Also, my steering wheel is about 15-20 degrees off-center, to the left(i.e. slight drift of car to right if kept neutral). I do not have navigation. Other than the glitches, I also love the car. Mine is black exterior, red interior with carbon fiber. If the dealer can adjust the steering wheel (?alignment), I can live with the leather imperfections. Of note, neither my BMW nor two Saab convertibles had ANY leather imperfections at delivery - a little disappointing.

Thanks for the info. If you do have any luck with getting the steering wheel fixed, please let me know; for now I'm holding off on having it worked on. -Matt
