hit 1k today! and does shiftknob just twist off?
It is AWESOME finally being able to go over 5k rpms!! It was as if the car had been waiting, too. Felt soooo good.
About the shiftknob: Does it just twist off counterclockwise? I am hesitant to force it.

You have to take the boot off from the trim. Raise the boot and you will see it's part of the ****. Attached with a hose clamp to the shift shaft. No easy way to change *****...yet. -Pete, Stratmosphere
