Homelink not responding

Homelink not responding
I've tried to program my homelink and it does not respond. If you hold any of the buttons for a minute LED will not blink. I tried holding two at the same time still nothing. It does illuminate at night and fuse is OK..
Just wanted to see what the next step would be?
Thanks

you probably have rolling codes.....
Each opener (of the last 10 years or so) has a system (in remote, on back of actual opener on ceiling, etc.) to make this work from what are called "rolling codes." Also check your opener manufacturer's manual as well.
Try these:

Re: My condo has the rolling codes...
I got mine to work, it took a while and I don't remember what I did....But it takes two people...one to be in the car..and the other to aim the remote at the bumper so that it can learn the codes...

It doesn't sound like that's the issue (yet).
Rolling codes may come in to play once 'slobo' gets the unit to start operating. But from their original description, it sounds like the homelink unit is not getting power or is simply dead.

I'd call Homelink and ask for technical help....Everytime I program my...
garage door I call them and they helpfully walk me thru it. They have great customer service!
Make sure you know the Make and Model of garage door opener and have a ladder already setup so you can push some buttons if needed.
